This folder contains the "golden master" version of HyperCard IIGS v.1.1. Do NOT distribute this version of HyperCard IIGS unless you have licensed THIS VERSION for distribution with your product. If you have already licensed HyperCard IIGS version 1.0, then contact Apple's Software Licensing at (408) 974-4667 to amend your license so that it covers version 1.1.
If you need to include HyperCard IIGS (the application itself) with your HyperCard-based product and have not yet licensed it, then you MUST contact Apple's Software Licensing department. The cost to license HyperCard IIGS for distribution is fifty dollars per product per year.
Stacks created under HyperCard IIGS version 1.1 work just fine under HyperCard IIGS version 1.0 as long as your stacks don't take advantage of any of the new commands or properties (because v.1.0 won't know what to do with them). Attempting to use a v.1.1 command or property under v.1.0 simply results in a script error (aborts the script but does no other harm). HyperCard IIGS v.1.0 will simply ignore any uses of the new backColor property, but will not wipe them out (i.e.: go back to v.1.1 and your backColor settings should be intact).
